J. Howard Sheffield
J. Howard Sheffield ("Howard") was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and graduated from Florida State University in 1982 with a degree in Real Estate in the Business School. Howard graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 1985, and University of Florida Law School with a Masters of Laws in Taxation in 1986. He is a member of the Florida Bar Real Property, Probate, Estate Planning and Tax Law. He practices in the areas of real property transactions, both residential and commercial, real estate development, estate planning, probate and entity formation. Howard is married, and the father of two children. He is an active member of the Deercreek Country Club and an avid golfer.
Scott R. Boatright
Scott R. Boatright ("Scott") was born in Corpus Christie, Texas, raised in Orange Park, Florida, and graduated from University of Florida in 1983 with a degree in Advertising. From 1983 to 1991, he was an officer in the United States Navy. Scott graduated from The Mississippi College School of Law in 1994. He is a member of the Florida Bar Real Property, Estate Planning, and Probate. He practices in the areas of real property transactions, both residential and commercial, foreclosure, probate, estate planning and entity formation. Further, Scott is an adjunct professor of law at Florida Coastal School of Law, and spends time working with Habijax and is on the Real Estate Committee of Ability Housing. Scott is the father of two children. and looks forward every year to hiking in the Rocky Mountains with his family on vacation or spending family time at the beach with surfboards, family and friends.
Lee S. Osborne
Lee S. Osborne (“Lee”) is a Jacksonville native, having graduated from Florida State University in April, 1983 with a degree in English and Business, and from the University of Florida College of Law in 1986. Lee has practiced law in Northeast Florida for over 26 years. He is a member of the Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Estate Planning Section, and has received an “A” rating from Martindale Hubbell. He has received numerous honors for excellence in the practice of law, practices in the areas of real property transactions, both residential and commercial, estate planning and probate, and has served as legal counsel to the Florida Mortgage Brokers’ Association and as an instructor and advisor for the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors. Lee is married, and the father of three sons. Lee views his job as a ministry and, when not working, enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends.
Shaun M. Burmeister
Shaun M. Burmeister (“Shaun”) was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and graduated from Florida State University in 2012 with a degree in criminology and a business degree in real estate. Shaun graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2016 and is a member of the Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Section. Shaun practices in the areas of real property transactions, both residential and commercial, estate planning, entity formation and contract review. Shaun is married and is a father to his golden retriever, Grace. Shaun enjoys the aquarium hobby, skiing in Colorado and lobstering in the Florida Keys.
